Ed Ekstrom is a Managing Director of vSpring. Before joining the vSpring team, Ed served as Vice President of the Intel Communications Products Group and General Manager of the Intel Utah Software Development Center, a post given to him after Intel acquired LANSystems where Ed was a Principal. Prior to Intel, Ed was a Vice President at CeriSyn and a founder at Cericor, which was acquired by Hewlett Packard in 1985. Ed has led vSpring's investment in Cemaphore, Fatpipe Networks, Gandiva, LanDesk Software, Linuxcare, and Soronti which was acquired by Avocent.

Jeff Erwin is the President and CEO of Pure Networks, the leading provider of home networking software and services. Immediately prior to Pure Networks, he was the President and CEO of Experticity, a developer of next-generation customer information systems.

With over 26 years in the high-tech and software industry, Jeff has served as General Manager for Microsoft’s Network Management Group & the Visio product line, was the Director of Incubation for Microsoft Research in the wireless mesh networking space, founded and ran three different high-tech companies (including ProTools and Kaspia) that were each successfully acquired, and served as the Vice President level at Network General and Visio. He has filed eight patents, shipped seven products at Microsoft, and has board-level experience with multiple VC-backed startups.

(Director), Puma Technologies (Director), Global Village (President & CEO), Intel (Manager business development Network Products), and LAN Systems, Inc. (Chairman, President, Founder).
