Tyrone F. Pike

 

Founder, Chairman, President, and CEO

With over 30 years experience in the high-tech sector, Tyrone has held numerous top executive positions in software, software systems integration, and networking infrastructure companies. As founder, CEO and President, Tyrone has led Cemaphore Systems from a traditional enterprise software company to an innovative cloud services vendor. His Web 2.0 experience includes serving as Chairman of the Board for HotOrNot Inc., one of the first social networking companies, which reached 2 million page views per day. As Board Member and Director, he helped to relaunch and take Citrix Systems public, now a member of the NASDAQ 100 and S&P 500 Index. Tyrone's track record includes leading successful startup companies, such as VPNX.com Inc., which was later acquired by InterNAP. As founder and Chairman of LAN Systems, he guided the company's successful product line, then negotiated the sale of LAN Systems' software division to Intel Corporation and its systems integration division to RR Donnelly & Sons. Tyrone's expertise spans across a wide range of domain areas: messaging, archiving, disaster recovery, networking and Web 2.0 services.

 

Andrew Hyde

 

Chief Financial Officer

Andrew Hyde brings more than 30 years of financial experience in high-tech businesses to his role at Cemaphore. He has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Sparxent, Inc. (Cemaphore’s parent company); CFO of Speakeasy, Inc. (sold to Best Buy in 2007); the first CFO of Salesforce.com, guiding the company from pre-revenue through cash flow positive and long-term viability; CFO of Snap.com from the time it was spun out of CNET through the merger with Xoom.com, Inc. that formed NBCi; and CFO of MiTek Industries, Inc. (now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway). He began his career with fifteen years at the General Electric Company, serving in a variety of financial positions of increasing responsibility. Andrew holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from Principia College.

 

L. D. Weller

 

Vice President, Development & Product Management

L.D. has over 25 years experience in companies such as Symantec, Intel, EMC/Legato, PowerQuest, AirSwitch, LANSystems, and Clyde Digital. He has been responsible for defining & launching products in the messaging, storage management, and desktop management marketplaces. L.D. has been involved in standards bodies and industry initiatives, including Wired for Management and WBEM adoption by the Distributed Management Task Force where he was Chairman of the Board. He was part of the product management team that created the LANDesk family of products and contributed to the success of Symantec's hot imaging storage technologies.

 

Ron Steed

 

Senior Director, Operations

Ron has over 25 years experience leading teams that deliver services, provide support and training, and create products. He has created service offerings at Novell including SUSE Linux service offerings. While at NEC, Ron defined and launched products and also lead the service delivery organization for their servers and laptops. He was responsible for training at Egghead Software. Additionally, while at Novell, Ron represented the company at the SSPA organization.
